Pepemon started as an experiment between developers and graphic designers. But things quickly evolved from an inside joke into a project with real potential.
Introducing “PeFi”!
Pepemon’s native token is Pebeballz ($PPBLZ). The total supply is only 14,000, with 98.86% airdropped to community members:

That means there was no pre-sale. All PPBLZ were distributed free.
PPBLZ holders and Uniswap Liquidity Providers (UNI-V2-PPBLZ owners) can stake their coins to farm PPDEX. PPDEX is a critical part of the Pepemon ecosystem as this token will be used to farm the first Starter Pepemons Limited Edition NFTs and fuel further development of the Pepemon world. PPDEX can also be used to buy the limited time/edition Pepemon NFTs on Rari or Opensea.
How does it work?
To get PPDEX you have to own PPBLZ or UNI-V2-PPBLZ (see here how to get this).
If you have any of these two tokens in your wallet head to https://pepemon.finance and choose "staking" at the top of the page.
Unlock your wallet (metamask or wallet connect).
After connecting your wallet, you will see the staking dashboard where you can stake PPBLZ to earn PPDEX. UNI-V2-PPBLZ LP tokens currently receive ~2x boost in earned PPDEX.
You can claim your precious PPDEX that you farmed at any point by using ‘Claim’ function on the platform.
Needless to say, this is a fair launch. No one farmed millions of PPDEX before the website was up. There is no sale or pre-mine for PPDEX.
Holding PPDEX at the date of the Pepemon NFTs minting lets one mint for a limited time a limited number NFTs. Once minted, the Pepemons can then be sold on secondary markets or used in one of the upcoming stages of the project.

Wisty is an aspiring Pepémon Master and a traveling partner of Pepe.
Meet Professor Pedo
Professor Pedo is a cryptocurrency researcher and enthusiast. Three Trainers from Pepellet Town come to Professor Pedo's lab to become Pepémon Trainers. Pedo gives them each a starter Pepémon, including his Pepertle. But beware when starting your journey as a Pepémon Trainer, he will check if you’re a boy or a girl under your pants.
Conclusion
Pepemon is a fun project with real potential in the DeFi space. It is a community based project with no possibility for the developers to pull the rug out (since almost all PPBLZ were fairly airdropped).
