Explaining “Horror”

Many matters suggest response. Among them are the sensation and purging of one’s feelings over time. Another is one’s response to sensation and realization.

Last week, and even the prior, I had thought that the despondency of my personal situation was difficult. It was rare for me to leave bed before noon. That sort of thing.

Sometimes staying in bed can be tough. All I do is think about what else I should be doing, and that’s not great. A friend came by and told me that I was processing some grief. It made me feel better. It’s hard enough to go through something tough when not realizing specifically what it is that’s tough. Assigning grief or suffering as a response minimizes it to the extent that I can realize that such suffering had already occurred, and had already been completed. What remains then is the revelation to me of the cause of my grief, if obfuscated, so I can identify it and tell myself I’m fine with it, and that I had already moved on anyway. So why not just cut it out and perk up? I hope to get there one day because I’ve been really bored, while we’re on the topic of horror. That’s all horror is: the possibility of boredom. Personally, I suggest refraining from it.

I’m just an average oracle, and I like to type. This'll make more sense when you're done playing around in stoicism.

Here's me aggressively trying to figure myself out as subjectively as possible and writing an objective blog to myself about it. Most of these are notes to myself.
