Road To The Glory Land - Update 24
In the latest splinterlands town hall, the team unveiled a range of game-changing updates and discussed upcoming developments. From the revamped daily focus reset to gameplay improvements addressing rental expiration and delegation cancellations, the team is committed to ensuring a fair and engaging experience for all players. Additionally, the wider splinterlands ecosystem theres a lot going on with new releases like the Genesis League Goals (GLG) game, the highly anticipated Soulkeep (Splinterlands tower defense game), and the upcoming Land 1.5 release in August. While my focus remains on Splinterlands due to past challenges and financial commitments, I eagerly follow these exciting ventures.
Land Fund: A Promising Boost
The Land fund has recently received a $20 boost, largely attributed to the conclusion of the latest splinterlands season which resulted in receiving Chaos Legion packs in the reward chests. Notably, the SPS token has shown signs of stabilization, albeit still distant from its all-time highs. Encouragingly, the splinterlands team appears dedicated to further enhancing the token's utility, paving the way for future growth.
Land Market: Ascending Trends
The Land index indicator continues its upward trajectory, hinting at the imminent release of Land 1.5 in the coming weeks. This positive trend has manifested across the board, particularly for more affordable Land plots. When I acquired my first magical Land plot, I secured it for $145, considering it an absolute bargain at the time. Though it experienced a temporary decline, it has since rebounded. For my second Land plot purchase, I am leaning towards adding another magical plot to reduce my average cost.
