A simple guide to finding an Elysium token, funding Dawn and placing a buy from Telegram.
A new chain usually means another setup to work through before you can buy anything. That's the part I would rather keep simple.
Dawn's Elysium support lets you use its USDC balance instead of manually bridging funds for each trade. Its early-access announcement lists Boxa, Kleos and Elyspump. Here is the process I would follow for a supported Elysium coin.
1. Open the official Dawn bot
Go through the Dawn website to open its Telegram bot, then press Start or send /start. I would use that route rather than search Telegram and hope the first result is the right one.
For this walkthrough, keep Auto Buy switched off. That setting can submit a buy as soon as you paste an address.
2. Add money to your balance
Press Deposit or send /deposit. Choose the network and token you are sending from, then follow the deposit panel.
Match the token and network exactly, use the address Dawn gives you, and meet the displayed minimum. Wait for the deposit to arrive before moving on. The quickstart guide walks through this setup.
3. Find the Elysium coin
Copy the full contract address from the token's verified project or venue page. Paste the address into Dawn to open its token panel.
Elysium uses 0x addresses, but so do several other networks. Check that the panel identifies the correct chain and token. A matching name or ticker isn't enough.
If Dawn doesn't recognise the coin or provide a supported route, stop there and check availability. Don't substitute a similarly named token.
4. Check the settings, then buy
Look at liquidity, holder concentration, the wallet you are buying from and your slippage setting. Then choose the amount you want to spend.
Tapping a buy amount normally sends the trade immediately. Dawn's buying guide explains that there is no routine second confirmation, although certain risk checks can add one. Check everything before tapping.
Watch the trade card for the result. A submitted transaction is not the same as a filled trade.
5. Find the position and plan the exit
Open Portfolio or send /portfolio, then select the coin. From its panel you can switch to selling and choose a share of the position to sell. A 100% sell closes the whole holding if it fills.
I would check the costs as well. Dawn's published fee is 1% on buys and sells, with a $0.35 minimum. Gas coverage has limits, and pool fees, routing costs and price impact can still affect the result.
That's why I like the single-balance approach: less moving money around before the trade. It still leaves the important decisions with you. Check the address, understand the costs and choose a size you can afford to lose.
