The Dingleberries is a collection like no other brought to you by Jonathan Hernandez a local Los Angeles street and tattoo artist who's dedicated his life to creating new, colorful and distinguishable art. Taking my daughter to the park then school. After that I have dust spaces to co host. I think I have some national lampoon stuff to finish but I'm pretty open after the dust spaces. What's up with you today?
Not much same old thing annoy artists lol . What's the national lampoon stuff?
The Comedyverse has partnered with them for a lot of things. They're getting ready for their drop so we're helping out with that
Oh cool so your busy enough at the moment?
Kinda... lol always entertaining new clients but definitely focusing on this partnership for now. Definitely sneaking the dingleberries in through the backdoor eventually lol.
Of course so tell me how do you even end up in crypto?
Covid. Brought me in out of boredom. My first NFT purchase was tiger King lol
So before covid you weren't involved in crypto at all where did you find out about NFTs?
I've been involved in crypto since 2017 ish and fell off due to all the scamming involved with it. I discovered NFTs which brought me back into the crypto space. I found out about NFTs when they started to gain traction in 2020 . It's safe to say that GPK brought me back into the crypto space because of NFT's.
What made you start creating?
Curiosity . Once I figured out the fundamentals of minting NFT's I realized I'd been doing everything wrong. Technically you're publishing content and that's forever. Being very close with the dingleberries artist I thought It would be fun to start the Dingleberries collection. Since then I've brought in a lot of artists that are very successful in the NFT space and have been having fun ever since.
Tell us about Dingleberries?
Dingleberries was born out of Jonathan's love for lowbrow art. He was originally a legit Graffiti artist that started creating art based on how he saw people at their most base form... hence the dingleberries... we all have an inner dingle.

Yep we've done a few in the past. We will be ramping that up this year.

What has been the best part of doing this project?
The freedom from the traditional art scene and the strong community here that supports artists
What's been the hardest part?
Trying to play catch up with how fast this space has grown.
What's the long term plan for the project?
Delivering physical products which we have now, shared IP ownership with our upcoming generative drop and the cartoon that we've already started working on. Intro and first character introduction is already complete
Oh wow when you hoping to full launch?
No date yet but we'll have one soon after we start dropping the collab pieces we've already completed. Holders will get the cartoon and we'll have a timed open edition for non holders.
Oh wow will there be many episodes how long will they be?
No cap on the amount of episodes and for now they'll be 30 seconds to a minute long character introductions until we can fund a full episode.
Oh nice who will be doing the voices?
No voices yet just text boxes we may use AI for the voices though.
That sounds class. Have you brought many people into wax world?
Yes I've brought quite a few artists into NFTs and specifically wax.
Can I ask what ones?
The Dingleberries, Junkyard L.A. and wooden cyclops have been the ones that have collabed on wax collections with me in the past.
What you like to do to relax?
Whiskey, beer and some Marijuana occasionally.
