So when I came across the artist will admit I wasn't total aware of the project but looking into the NFTs they are more than meets the eye . If you look at each NFT you just see the cover page but there is written in it
Hey and welcome
Thanks, it’s a pleasure.
How are you today?
Doing great, with many things to do, and many ideas to work out.
How did your crypto journey start?
My Crypto journey started with Faucets, which I should have found out about years ago, but well, I thought never too late to start, which got me some Tron, and Dogecoin to start off with in the world of Crypto.
How did you come across NFTs?
When there started to be a lot of Hype around NFTs, I decided to give it a closer look, and ran into an article about the launch of Atari NFTs on WAX. That made me create my WAX Wallet, and buy my first NFTs.
Were you collecting before you started creating?
From the Atari NFTs I got pulled into the Gnomeseries1 NFTs, and their community, and have been collecting ever since. I am also a big fan of the Funko Series, mostly the ones related to the 80s.
Why did you start creating NFTs?
I started creating NFTs after becoming a DAO Board Member, we needed funding, and decided it was a good idea to create our own collection, to create some work capital for organizing activities within the community. I started creating my own project, in order to be able to put all my own creativity in it, and to share it with the WAX Community.
Why was Wax blockchain the right blockchain for your project?
The ease of creating, the tools available, and the transaction fees.
What’s the idea behind the project?
Let me share our Mission, and Vision statement for that question:
Mission: To amplify the voices of creators and ignite a passion for storytelling by fostering a supportive and inclusive community where art and book lovers can connect, create, and share their creative visions. We go beyond simply publishing works; we empower individuals through education and resources, enabling them to navigate the exciting world of NFTs and DeFi and transform their ideas into impactful contributions to the literary and artistic landscape.
Vision: To become the unparalleled hub for community-driven literature and digital art, where innovation meets inclusivity. We envision a future where storytelling transcends traditional boundaries, empowered by seamless NFT integration and fueled by the collective creativity of our vibrant community. We aspire to be not just a collection, but a movement, leading the way in redefining the ownership and appreciation of art and literature in the digital age.
What was your first NFT you dropped?
The first NFT was Book 1 in the 8-Team Series, which has been inspired by the WAXHooligans Collection, the characters in the book are based on persons from the WAXHolligans community, which was great to create, and there will be a series of short adventure stories, in the style of the 80s meeting modern times.
How did the community react?
The community loved it.
How many NFTs have you launched since?
I have launched 4 NFTs, and am in the process of launching 3 more NFTs, after that I will be working on new NFTs.
How do you create your NFTs?
I create them using Word, and Paint mostly, all based on what inspires me to work on.
Do you use many programs?
Quite a few at the moment; Night Café for images, Gemini to work out text, Paint/Paint 3D, all types of programs to change the types of files, and the most important program, my imagination.
What has been your favorite you have created?
My favorite NFT so far has been the first book in the Educational Series; DeFi Dares, to bring something really educational to the WAX Blockchain (I work as an English Teacher, and Career Coach).
Have you done any collabs yet?
I am working on a Collab at the moment with the NFTopia School Project, where I will be donating a number of the DeFi Book Series NFTs to the NFTopia School Participants, and also in the future to support the project with providing Educational materials in the area of NFTs, Creativity, and DeFi.
Who would be your dream collab?
Beeple, lol, that would for sure put us on the map, or any 80s artist.
What's your favourite NFT project?
That’s a tough one, there are so many exciting projects out there. If I have to choose 1, I would say Landboxgames, because of their virtual world, and the things they are working on.
What is the long term plan for the project?
The long term plan is to take advantage of the bridges being built between the different Blockchains, in order to cross from WAX into different environments, to spread our Mission, and Vision.
What has been the hardest part of the project?
In this moment the hardest part will be to lay a strong foundation for the project, and since it is quite a new thing compared to other projects on WAX, to promote the ideas behind the collection.
What has been best part of doing the project?
So far I had some great comments on the NFTs, people are curious, and excited.
What you like to do to unwind?
Listen to 80s Music, play with the dog, watch a relaxing TV-Series with some snacks.
What does your family think of the project?
Blockchain Technology, DeFi, NFTs is not realy something the family is into.
When is the next drop?
The next drop will be this weekend
Where can we keep up with the project?
The best place to be will be on our Discord Page: https://discord.gg/Ger3Z3PW
And you can also follow us on X : https://twitter.com/NFTBookVault
Is your NFTs stakeable if so where?
In this moment we have no staking pools set up, but it is something we will be doing in the future, using WAXDAO.
Where can we buy your NFTs?
The drops are available on
NFTHive: https://nfthive.io/drops?verified=all&collection=nftbookvault
On NeftyBlocks, and Atomichub, once I get the Whitelisting done there.
Any chance of an NFT or 2 for a completion?
Always I will send a few different NFTs from the collection.
Anything else you want to add?
That it is not going to be an easy one, but that the fun and excitement of creating this new type of project will be worth it, and I would like to thank you for the possibility to share this collection with your audience. Maybe once the collection has grown, we can do a follow up interview, let’s say in a few years, to see where the collection is the. Thanks .
