I figured that in order to know what I really want out of life and what my overall goals are, I should write them out. So I created a vision of my own "perfect life" and vision statement. And if I were to never fully realize this vision... it's perfectly ok... it's good to be happy where you are even while you're working on improving things. I encourage you to make one for yourself.
My Perfect Life
I have no job. I am able to live of income from my personal projects and investments. I live within biking distance of a beach and a peaceful park. I have a beautiful and caring wife by my side. I have a permanent residence in an affordable area and have the ability to travel for months at a time. There will be lots of sun and a nice view. My place will be in a moderate climate that doesn't get too cold. I have fun friends to hang out with. I have plenty of time for my hobbies such as playing board games and rock climbing. I have a sauna. I have no stress from an overactive mind prone to compulsive thinking. I am at peace and have freedom to do as I please. My creative efforts are appreciated and helpful to others. I have good relationships with friends, family and acquaintances.
My Vision Statement
Creativity, freedom and peace is my path. My creative efforts are beneficial to others. I have the freedom to live, love and explore the world. I am at peace with myself, others and the entire universe. I am fulfilled.
What does your perfect life look like?
