Today, I completed my first month as a writer on this platform. It has been an enjoyable yet challenging experience. Although I will discuss the statistics shortly, let me begin by stating that compared to other professional endeavors, it would be considered unprofitable. In fact, sometimes it feels like I'm earning pennies per hour at best! Therefore, there must be another motivation beyond monetary gain that drives me to write here.
Fun and learning are reasons enough for me! As a self-proclaimed noob in writing, I believe I can gain some experience, while sharing my love for Bitcoin.
So how did I end up writing about BTC? Well, it all began with a curiosity about Bitcoin and the history of money. The more research I conducted, the more fascinated I became by its potential applications and impact on the future world. And now here I am - writing about something that gives me immense joy and satisfaction.
While financial compensation is always appreciated (who doesn't want some extra sats?), fun and learning have been significant driving forces behind why I continue to write about Bitcoin despite the seemingly low wages.
My first article, a review of "The Bitcoin Standard," was published on May 7th. It gained almost 1,000 views and made me feel welcome here. The book deepened my understanding of hard money, and the importance of scarcity. I am grateful for every reader who took their time to read the review and leave feedback in a form of comment, tip or a like - you have motivated me!

Behold the magnificent chart before you, displaying the wild and unpredictable rollercoaster ride of daily views! It's as volatile as a crazed meme coin, birthed into existence out of the thin air. One day soaring high, basking in the glory of thousands of views, and the next plummeting into the abyss of obscurity. It's a thrilling adventure for sure!
But fear not, my dear audience, on average, and against all odds, I have somehow managed to accrue almost 1,000 views per day on average. How did I accomplish this feat, you might ask? Well, it is all thanks to you, my faithful viewers, whose unwavering support has propelled me to this astonishing milestone.
The three most viewed articles gained about 2k views each:
- Millionaire Addresses: Bitcoin Reaches One Million Wallets Holding 1 BTC or More
- Thank God for Bitcoin - Book Review
- Scaling Bitcoin: Ark's Journey Towards Mass Adoption
These are also the articles, earning the most tips.
Talking about, I somehow managed to earn $22 from the tips. Already moved a part out to Kucoin and exchanged, you guessed, for bitcoin as I'm not really considering these tokens to be hard money. As I've read somewhere, "Digital scarcity matters. The Absolute scarcity cannot be rediscovered again".
Now, I have no idea what to do with Spot so I'll be leaving it here until I find an easy and cheap way to convert it to sats.
$22 isn't something to be ashamed of, considering I got another $95 (to be fair, $80-ish if we're talking about the past 30 days only) from registering and using a card, provided by not so great shitcoin casino, I've stacked almost 400,000 extra sats. Not bad at all!
As for likes, I've surprisingly managed to keep them at about 99/1 ratio. Surprisingly, because I'm a Bitcoin Maxi and I'm not afraid to mention it in my posts. I like to call things as I see them and this all isn't sitting well with others.
Gaining 136 followers within the first 30 days makes this journey of a noob writer even sweeter.
I am filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude and humility, like a tiny ant realizing its place in the vast universe of cyberspace. But, I must admit, I'm also quite befuddled. Who in the virtual realm has the superhuman ability to read and digest all my nonsensical ramblings? Are there secret organizations dedicated to this noble cause??
Whoever's out there, thank you all!
