In my last post we saw the medieval city of Annecy in France, but there is also a very beautiful lake next to this city, called the Lake Annecy. Located between the alpine mountains, the Lake Annecy is the third largest lake in France with a Surface area of 27.59 km2 (10.65 sq mi). It's also known as "Europe's cleanest urbanized lake" because of strict environmental regulations introduced in the 1960s.
