Called CADECA, is an exchange system which gives you a card , with digital money to spend in CUBA.
The following currencies are allowed to be swapped with a PREPAID, DIGITAL MONEY , card called MLC Prepaid Card:
Canadian dollar, pound sterling, Swiss franc, Japanese yen, Mexican peso , Euro - cash
and us dollar - only bank transfer

To travel to Cuba, the traveler or tourist may enter in cash any foreign currency accepted by the Central Bank of Cuba to be exchanged for Cuban peso (CUP), except US dollars (USD), which are only accepted through transfers. ( countries listed above )
Well , these countries do not actually have a digital money system ONLY , declared, or do they?
But it seems to me that the Cuban system hides the next step to ,who will introduce CBDC, or actually introduced them already, without us knowing it.
No more cash from CANADA, UK, SWISS, MEXICO ,EUROPE, and US, just get a card, no problem.
CUBA PESO is still cash, but when its gets also digital, the system there is totally controled by CBDC's and their makers, Peoples transactions will be traced and no one will have privacy.
Debit or credit cards accepted in Cuba are: Visa, Mastercard, Union Pay, Ocean Card, CABAL and American International Service (AIS) . But still, you have to check with your bank to see if they have this connections there.
So...can we actually speak about a HYBRID SYSTEM,right now, because we still have cash in some countries, but if the money comes in, they arrange you the convenience, to buy everything with a digital card, with digital money, which you spend in cuba.... without havin national currency? Wow....thats tooooo gooodd..., of course when you leave cuba, you can get cash back. Because in your country this system is not ready, yet. ......YET
These central banks , make the next step to the ban CASH, with this EXCHANGE SYSTEM, working in CUBA.
