In the last week, a new "mining" site popped up: Ether-flow.io.

First of all, what is it exactly?

According to their FAQs,

It is a fascinating game that can help you earn Ethereum. Get profits from your businesses, buy new businesses, develop, and increase your level.

Basically it's a faucet, where you can claim 0.000012 ETH every 8 minutes (by solving a reCaptcha), and once you reach the minimum amount of 0.005 ETH you can withdraw to any Ethereum wallet. 

If you just want to gather a small amount of ETH to pay gas for your transactions from Metamask (for example) this is not bad at all, and withdrawals are very fast, it only took a couple of minutes for me to complete 2 transactions.

But wait, there's more!

If you want to invest and increase your earnings, you can buy various upgrades which increase your earning speed and your capacity (the amount of ETH you can gather before claiming), and remove the reCaptcha. Yes, just click and you have claimed.

The site is new, so the fear that it will turn into a scam is understandable. However I wanted to give it a try, and I bought the first upgrade (deposited 0.05 ETH, around 10€), now I can claim 0.00018 ETH every 30 minutes, let's see how it turns out.
