During the Bitcoin Conference in San Francisco 2019 I got a chance to stop by the ShapeShift Exchange booth and check out their fresh platform and hardware wallet Keep Key. I enjoyed what I saw and already had a little experience using a Ledger Nano before. I was certainly excited to try Keep Key and to learn all about this Crypto Hardware Wallet. And consequently, I came back home with one to try out.

It took me a little while but this week I finally found some time.
On this first video I show the contents of the box. Just a short little video of me opening my SEALED KeepKey hardware wallet.
On the second video I showcase how I did my set up. The app that is necessary for the wallet to sync with computer and which browser to use as well. Few little details necessary for the set up to go smoothly. I originally thought that for set up all I needed to do was to plug the cable in the computer and the computer would prompt me to action. But once I realized an app was needed for the device to sync I figured this video below may be helpful to others as well.
My next step now will be to sync my Keep Key and my ShapeShift Exchange account and try trading using my Keep Key device. At this point I am not sure how the process works but excited to learn about it and be able to trade more securely. By that I mean trade without having to deposit my funds directly into the exchange. Basically trade holding my key. Sounds like a great idea to me, soon will try it out.
