Hey guys, Trader Davey here to help you get some free cash as per usual, this time I'll be talking about Honeygain.

So what is Honeygain you might be asking? If you don't already know, Honeygain is an app that allows you sell your excess internet/bandwidth, so if you're like me and have an unlimited internet plan, it really is just plain old free money. It's not going to make you rich overnight, but as a truly set and forget money making method, it's a few extra dollars in your bank (or hopefully crypto portfolio!)

Honeygain will pay you 3 “credits” for every 10MB of data, and with 10 credits being $0.01c USD that equates to $3 USD for every 10GB of traffic. There is an additional “content delivery” mode you can opt into, which will add an additional 6 credits per hour it is active (although it can take awhile after you switch it on for it to start as there are a limited number of active content delivery slots)

But what about my internet speeds you might be asking? As Honeygain uses a maximum of 10% of your bandwidth at any given time, there should not be a noticeable difference in your speed, and if you do need to do something bandwidth intensive, it's simply a case of pausing Honeygain for awhile.

Payouts can be requested in USD to your paypal, in BTC direct to a wallet or through Jumptask which will add 10% to your payout! Minimum payout is at $20 (or 20000 credits) and payouts are processed anywhere from 2 days to a week depending on payout method chosen, with Jumptask having no fees whatsoever!

You are able to have multiple devices connected to your one account as well, as long as they are not utilising the same network (for example I generally leave both my phones going overnight on charge using mobile data, as well as my laptop which is on 24/7 anyway using my NBN connection)

As I said, it won't make you rich overnight, but with an average time of 48 days to get to the $20 payout, it comes to over 40c a day for doing nothing. There is also a “honey pot” you can open once a day on your dashboard which will give anywhere from 10 to 10000 credits (1c to $10)
