Hello HODLers!
A few days ago, I was selected as a beta tester for the upcoming Publish0x mobile app.
After spending some time using it, I want to share a real, no-BS breakdown of how it works, what’s solid, and what could be improved before launch.
Let’s dive in 👇
📱 First Impressions: Simple by Design
The first thing you notice is how minimal the app is.

No clutter, no unnecessary features — just the essentials:
- Home
- Articles
- Offerwall (coming soon)
- Settings
And honestly, this feels intentional.
Instead of trying to replace the website, the app is clearly built as a lightweight extension of it.
🧠 Core Features: Solid and Reliable
I focused on testing the fundamentals — and overall, the experience is very smooth.
✅ Login & Navigation
Everything works fast and without friction.
📖 Reading Articles
Clean interface, easy scrolling, and distraction-free reading.

💸 Tipping System
This is the heart of Publish0x — and it works well on mobile.
No bugs, no crashes, no delays.
⚠️ A Small but Important UX Issue
While testing the tipping flow, I noticed something interesting.
An “Ad blocker detected” message appears even when:
- no ad blocker is active
- DNS settings are default
👉 The tip still goes through, but the flow feels slightly interrupted.
Not a critical issue — but definitely something worth refining before release.
💡 What Could Make This App Even Better
Here are a few improvements that could significantly boost the experience:
1. Tip Split Customization
Giving users control over how to split rewards between reader and author would be a big upgrade.
2. Dark Mode (Already Planned)
Great to know this is coming — it’s almost essential for long reading sessions.
3. Offerwall Potential
The Offerwall section is not active yet, but it’s already visible in the app.
This could become a major growth driver.
👉 One interesting idea:
adding an “earn to watch” model (watch short videos to earn rewards) could massively increase engagement and retention.
4. Keep It Simple (No Categories)
At the moment, there are no categories or advanced filters.
And surprisingly, that’s not a bad thing.
The app feels:
- fast
- focused
- easy to use
Sometimes less really is more.
💰 Wallet & Rewards: Clean Integration
From the Home screen, you can quickly access:
- Your USDC balance
- Withdraw button
- Entry points to earning features
Everything is designed to be quick and intuitive.
🔥 Final Thoughts
After testing the app, here’s the honest verdict:
- Stable ✅
- Simple ✅
- Functional ✅
But most importantly:
👉 it has strong potential with just a few improvements
🚀 My Take
This isn’t a “revolutionary” app — and that’s exactly why it works.
It focuses on:
- usability
- speed
- core features
If the team continues refining the experience…
this could easily become a daily-use app for crypto users.
