$BAT // Brave: We've come to the first cross-site experience of seamless tipping, seamless reward integration, a seamless gesture that moves us toward a currency we can feel... works. A currency we can use. A currency of focus. Of clarity of purpose. Of giving back to those who stimulate our awareness. We have moved beyond (or around) the bits and the ether, beyond the tethered confines of the crypto-secrets we kept. The cracks are orange and purple like the glowing embers of a distant sunset. We stand in the light of attention. Our basic experience as humans, as creators. And the system works with ease, with elegant sharpness, and immediate gratification -- the anonymous joy of giving, of being gifted a token of true and lasting value.
And the paradigm has just melted itself into the world. It will improve. It will grow and sprout tendrils. It's offspring will populate the programs of your neuro-fantasies. We are beginning the journey inward. A new form of advertising. A new form of rewarding both consumers and creators, of rewarding mere users of a browser for their attention. There is nothing more simple. There is a beautiful decency in this. We move away from the commercial and into the targeted flash of an non-intrusive image or a small quick pop-up that breezes itself into's vision. An exercise in relevancy. An exercise in commerce flexibility.

When I first installed the Brave Browser, I was immediately rewarded by enabling ads. I felt a sense of the future, of how browsers themselves could manifest as creative experiences. For, it's not just those of us who create content, but also those who have enabled these platforms. There's a true sense of creativity itself that flows from the foundation of the browser. To utilize that foundation is an intelligent (and strategic) move toward what it means to browse, for what it means to stay online.
One's attention is valuable. To reward users for simply being present within a created foundation (the browser) allows users to feel value by simply using the product. This is a real "giving back." This is why I embrace cryptocurrency and how it can transform the ways in which we engage in the media we choose to consume. And I haven't even spoken of the ability to tip. The idea that the same token one uses to tip is the same token one is gifted by using the Brave browser (and being shown relevant or targeted ads) is a unique experience of engagement that could trigger the larger culture to examine the ways in which they participate in the browsers of their choice. I know of no other browser that offers such an experience.
And this is what we are most interested in, isn't it? The idea that EXPERIENCES should be rewarded. It is one thing to merely "zone out" while online, and another to know that one is a part of a larger process of reception (that one is literally earning crypto while engaging with websites).
May we all move toward a concrete sustaining of not only BAT, but crypto solutions, in general. I believe the future pours from how the present fuels our interpretations and fantasies. Let's learn to dream better, to become conscious and creative. To give back. And to cultivate a greater sense of our own attention. For, at the end of the day, we really have nothing else. May we spend our time wisely.
