It appears that it was just a passing fad.
What do you mean you are not entirely sure? I mean that's what mainstream media is talking about these days, isn't it? Then you know we are moving in the right direction. While many do perceive the crypto movement as a means to generate profits - myself included - we should not forget about the ways in which the space is destined to revolutionize the way we live.
When in doubt, just ask crypto folks living in underdeveloped regions of our world if this technology has helped them to improve their quality of life and in what ways.
You will be surprised.

We have already seen a number of different examples as to how the blockchain tech and tokenization of information can bring about real change by aiding growth and further development, but considering that the tech behind it all is roughly twelve years young, I think it's safe to assume that there's a lot more to come.
Especially considering how more and more use cases keep popping up out of nowhere as the days go by. Crypto has always been a passing fad, ever since the very first days. Huge pumps don't mean a thing as soon as a 10 % or 20% correction appears. We tend to only focus on the negatives and start spreading fear, uncertainty and doubt.
It happens to me as well; it's human nature.
Take control.
If your emotions are affected so badly by market swings, then maybe you are overexposed and have invested more than you can afford to lose. Even if you are a true believer who realizes that this tech is here to stay and reshape the way we perform transactions on a global scale, you should always keep in mind that there is this thing called volatility. If it weren't for it, most of us wouldn't be here in the first place.
Personally, I do not appreciate those corrupt centralized financial institutions that print money out of thin air without anyone's permission and make the rules of the game which they refuse to abide by anyway, but I do keep some spare fiat money on the side because I like balance. I'm in crypto for the long haul, and therefore, I couldn't care less about temporary market swings. The trend is there and patience is all it takes.
I do hope there will come a day I will be able to make ends meet solely through my crypto-oriented activities, but even then I might have to keep a job. There is this feeling of fulfillment that productivity gives me, plus people need a purpose to move on in life. That explains why even some of the wealthiest people roaming this world are still working hard. It's about passion.
Yup, there are things in life you can't buy with money.
He who doesn't care wins.
I've realized that the crypto game is like some sort of negotiation. The less you care about coming to terms with the way the market behaves, the better the end result of your efforts will be. If you don't have much to lose but a lot to gain, it suddenly becomes much easier to just sit back and enjoy the ride. Makes it also much easier to be patient and wait for the right time to make your move.
It's kind of ironic that I'm talking about patience in this post considering that the total crypto market cap has grown significantly over the past twelve months. This goes to show how dynamically the space is currently evolving, yet negativity spreads faster, so it only takes one or two bad weeks for emotions to change. Manipulation by using exaggerated rumors of impending danger has always been a thing in crypto.
In order to control people effectively, you have to control their thoughts.
There is a lot at stake.
Just like the internet took our ability to collect, store and communicate information to the next level, the internet of money is destined to do the same with our ability to generate and transfer value. As a matter of fact, it's already happening. It's just that the vast majority of interent users do not know it yet.
However, the advantages of this tech are so significant that the players pulling the strings and making the rules of the game will soon be pushing for mass adoption. There's a lot of value to be generated and huge profits to be made; it's in their best interest. I think that works for us crypto folks, yeah?
That sums it all up for now!
Never forget!
