To incentivise the liquidity providers, they have Liquidity mining rounds that lasts 14 days with listed pairs having liquidity mining rewards on top of the 0.15% trading fee commission for every swap on the pair you have supplied liquidity.

2 - using their mobile app for non-custodial loopring wallet built for Layer 2 (I found this easier)

Please note that there is Ethereum fees required to create the loopring wallet and also to transfer from L1 to L2. However, once you are inside L2, the fees is comparatively lower. And transferring it back from L2 to any Ethereum L1 address is also cost effective.
