I must admit, some days when I am on my way to work, I am rather envious of my two cats. There is no early rising for them, no need to shower and shave, travel to work, go to meetings, and try to stay awake during riveting Powerpoint presentations.

As you can see from the picture above, my cat is an exceptionally hard worker, if sleep was hard work :-)

They stay at home, sleep whenever they want, eat whenever they want, and wander around the house, sitting on the windowsill watching the birds fly past.

I tried asking my cats to pay their way, to get a job. They ignored me and just kept on sleeping :)

But all said and done, cats are great pets and companions. They are always there, always happy to see you and always looking for a pat or cuddle or someone's lap to sit on.

They can be very funny too with some of their antics and games. Here is an example of cats being silly!!

It is certainly great to come home after a long day at work with too many meetings and Powerpoint presentations, to see your cats and to just relax at home and watch their antics!
