Hi this i hope helps and reassures those who suffer.
The first thing i guess to realise is anxiety wont kill you. I know its a very very scary feeling and your symptoms can feel life threatening which can often feed it just by thought.
I will in future posts tell you what helps both longer term and in situations like when you go out or simply doing nothing at all.
Everywhere ive looked has had some useful stuff but wasnt all useful so ive decided to use what i know in the hope you find it helps you.
First off i dont yet work because of anxiety. I get them all but the biggest is general anxiety which has no triggers. I know certain triggers which can cause me greater distress and use my techniques to overcome them.
You may decide medication to calm us is the answer and whilst these can be good the question you have to ask is why stop what is ultimately our own defence mechanism.instinct of threat. Ours just works overtime.
I will not keep you long but i want to say something so true and that journey to live with rather than cure anxiety begins from the moment we are born.we decide to choose to love and trust our mothers when we are born. Truth is being born creates our 1st anxiety attack!
