Want A Better Sleep? Turn Off All Electronic Devices Before Bed.

It has done wonders for my sleep lately. I know that this is a hard thing to do since most of you are glued to your phone or laptop screens right before going to bed but the bright light from the screens will have a negative effect on the quality of your sleep.

I for one made a promise to myself a while back that 1 hour before bedtime I would close off any electronic device. And the difference in how I wake up is night and day. Almost every morning I feel refreshed and full of energy. I obviously have days where I feel tired when I wake up and I would not get out of the bed for 1000$ but those days are really rare now as opposed to the period when I was with my eyes in my phone right until I started sleeping.

It's hard in the beginning but there are definitely a lot of things that you can do for 1 hour before sleeping that do not involve using a screen. I for one choose to read most of the time. But you can meditate, clean your room , go for a run or take a long hot bath. Just find something that keeps you away from tech for a while. I tell you, if you do this for a week, you will see a huge change in your sleep quality and general well being.
