What is Quant?
As you can read on coinbase: "Quant is a platform that enables interoperability between different ledger technologies (DTLs) and blockchains".
- Users are able to build universally interoperable multi-DLT applications (or "mDApps") using Quant's integration framework, Overledger OS.
- The mDApps built using Overledger OS communicate with each other and with different DLTs via the Overledger Network (OVN).
- Users can build mDApps using Overledger OS without learning new languages
- OVN currently supports connection between blockchains such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, IOTA, and DLTs such as Oracle's OBP Corda, and Hyperledger.
- The native asset of the Quant platform is QNT - an ERC20 token deployed on the Ethereum blockchain.
