Liberland is moving full speed ahead! The weather is perfect, the mosquitos are few, and the neighbors from Croatia are mostly friendly. And now, something exciting has happened: the very first beach bar has opened on Liberty Island — and the first treehouse is finished too!
Ten brave settlers built it all by hand. It’s simple, cozy, and totally unique. You can now visit, enjoy a drink, and even sleep in a treehouse in the heart of Liberland.

So far, 790,846 people have applied to become citizens of Liberland — maybe you’re one of them! But don’t worry: we’re not asking everyone to move at once. That would make Liberland the most crowded place on Earth!
Instead, we’re looking for a steady stream of new settlers and supporters — both people and capital — to help the project grow naturally. NEW: discuss the Beach Bar in our Forum thread.
There are two main ways to get involved:
Option 1: If You Have Some Money
- Invest $10,000 USD
→ Get 5,000 Liberland Merits (LLM)
→ Become a citizen
→ Get the right to settle 500 m² of land - Build your own treehouse and spend part of your summer in Liberland!
- Or support the brave EU settlers who are already here.
Option 2: If You Have Time and Energy (EU/SCHENGEN Citizens)
No big investment? No problem — just follow these steps:
- Complete your residency application for just $150
- Come and work in Liberland!
- Jobs available now: construction, transport, bartending, DJ, and security
- Earn €50 to €150 per day in Liberland Dollars (LLDs)
- Work 7 days
→ Earn citizenship (no Merits needed!) - Work 25 days
→ Earn citizenship + 5,000 LLM
You can even build a treehouse for €10,000–20,000 — and start living the good life in the middle of nature.
