  • eToro

eToro

Founded in 2007 and based in Cyprus, eToro's narrow specializes in social and replica trading has underpinned Zoom that now boasts over 10,000,000 clients worldwide.

eToro could be a trading platform that permits trading in several cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, and more.

The key difference between traditional exchanges and eToro is that every transaction done inside eToro is in fiat currency. Meaning that you can’t withdraw the Ether you buy on eToro, only exchange it for USD, EUR, etc.

This means the platform is extremely compatible with those that are only looking to invest in Ethereum's price but not such a lot for people that want to carry their Ether to their wallet.

Words of Advice:

Never store your Ethereum (ETH) or any other cryptocurrencies on Exchanges because they don’t give full access to your funds. They never give you your private keys.

Whenever and wherever in crypto, always keep this in mind, “Not your Keys, Not your Coins”. The Exchanges are good for trading but not for storing your funds for a long time.

So, after buying your Ethereum (ETH), try to get a hardware wallet like Ledger Nano X for storing. As for software wallets, get a non-custodial wallet like Guarda.

Conclusion: Top Ethereum Exchanges

The key thing while choosing an exchange would be to make sure your country and the payment methods that are supported. For beginners, it’s better to use brokerage services and pay a bit of a premium while more advanced and professional users should trade on an exchange and save on fees.

As I said earlier, new exchanges are coming online every now and then. We can expect to see more and more of them with even better facilities.
