There is a big news for the much awaited updated news on Shiba Inu. 

The Shiba Inu team through twitter announced the basic concepts of Shibarium, their layer 2 blockchain/network on Ethereum.

This will allow faster, private, and cheaper transactions to be processed off-chain while leveraging the security of the underlying blockchain.

Shibarium will also provide the benefits of scalability and an expanded development framework.

Shibarium aims to revolutionize the SHIB ecosystem and the entire crypto space by reducing the cost of gas for adopting Ethereum-based and non-Fungible tokens (NFTs).

Shibarium-based transactions will run off-chain outside of Ethereum. The transactions on Shibarium will be communicated back to the Ethereum network. Shibarium will conduct most of the processing work- so the lowering cost and processing times for end users.

The news would further boost the fundamentals of Shiba Inu’s three ecosystem tokens: Shiba Inu (SHIB), leash (LEASH)-$355.94 and bone (BONE)-$0.1293, which together value over $5 billion in market capitalization. 

We are yet to get the exact number of burn of SHIB tokens. 

It was also to be noted that Shiba Inu became ETH Whales largest holding ahead of the Shibarium launch. 

While an official timeline has not been given around the release Shibarium, the developing team said that the answer to all questions based on the time frame is- soon. 

On November 22, 2022, Shytoshi Kusama, SHIB developer already said that the World Economic Forum (WEF) asked the project to partner on developing a global policy on the metaverse.

At present Shiba Inu trades at $ $0.00001034 which is high by 1.24% in 24 hours/ high by 15.51 % in 7 days. Shiba Inu ranks at 16 at present.  The All Time High of Shiba Inu was $0.00008845 ( was recorded on Oct 28, 2021). Now Shiba Inu trades 88.29% lower at present.
