The Brutal Truth About Cryptocurrency Faucets That Faucet Owners Do Not Want You To Read

By XTRM™ | Beta Testing Lab | 3 Aug 2022

I do not expect to make any new friends in the Developer World by letting you all in on the brutal truth about cryptocurrency faucets that faucet owners do not want you to read -just because you are going to get knowledge in advance of who to avoid when you see these crypto faucets, and help yourself to stop wasting time on the criminal and lazy element - SEO sub over... let's get on with it.

Having been around the block for many years - in fact since the very first Bitcoin rolled off the Blockchain from the very first Whitepaper - I have seen many crypto services, facilities, websites and cryptocurrency businesses, go bump... a great many overnight, but in truth the owners of such crypto projects knowing full well their products and services are about to go under.

In the beginning cryptocurrency faucets were very popular places to earn a little extra crypto. Companies such the now fated CoinPot thrived in the multi-faucet world - a day in which many faucets did actually pay according to the value of various cryptocurrencies, a decent amount of tokens per claim. As you would expect that amount per claim moved 'up' when the value of cryptocurrency went up, and 'down' as crypto values slumped...

However only a nameless few from the top cryptocurrency faucets that have been around for over three years, have adapted to suit the cryptocurrency environment, paying fairly, and significantly more than the crypto faucets that have sprung up over the recent months.

Those who have been around for the many moons trawling and reviewing cryptocurrency faucets have paid note to the types of cryptocurrency faucets to avoid and those to pay closer attention to... there is a reason why the big guns succeed in business, and a reason as to why copycat traders fall away into obscurity very very quickly. That being 'value to the customer'...

Over the last two years crypto values have seen huge fluctuations... many seeing all time high values suddenly slashed to all time lows. With that cryptocurrency faucets over time have gradually lowered the value of claims according as values of token went up - and in previous years as the value came down, claiming values from crypto faucets went down... you are still with me? Good...

The nameless few crypto faucets in the main have kept up with times and have tuned crypto claims from their faucets to fair claims at the now reduced token values - where claiming crypto can be claimed at rates not seen since 2017/18 due to previous lows - however, newer faucet owners, and the majority of smaller crypto faucets have not followed suit... quickly finding themselves with lower and lower incoming traffic from users claiming from their facilities.

In short a word to all faucet owners currently still engaged in paying 1-Satoshi and less equivalent in Altcoins per claim during a time where the big guns are paying at higher 2017/18 rates - it is not going to work for you - period - quite frankly 1-Satoshi per claim for up to 5-minutes of time per faucet facility claim, is quite quickly going to get your crypto faucet a very bad name in the crypto community - and knowing the advertising revenue myself as a website and business owner - I can tell you now that you faucet owners are engaged in 700%-profiteering ventures, that will last for 3-months before you are finding a new website and continuing the vicious circle... which brings me to your 'Shortlinks' and 'Surveys'.

I will not entertain a survey unless it pays fairly - to pop on a crypto faucet and spend 15 to 20-minutes for $0.05, where the actual paying price of that same survey at a fair paying survey website, or survey company directly, pays 10 to 20-times that rate - you are doomed to a one survey faucet member that will never conduct a survey from your faucet again... only newbies will attend and that will be for a very short period of time... you faucet owners may not want to hear that truth but it is a cold hard fact!

'Shortlinks' - OMG where do I even start?

Firstly 'Not Safe For Work' (NSFW) Shortlinks are NOT DESIGNED FOR CRYPTOCURRENCY FAUCET USE!

NSFW Shortlinking is designed for Adult Content Websites, they are ALWAYS full of malware and DO NOT pay attention to your customer Internet security in the slightest. Many of these shortlinking services do not fully complete to payment, are full of 'page breaking' malware and will quickly be avoided by your faucet members - this will drastically reduce your faucet income and your ability to continue.

Shortlink claim values should reflect the time spent per claim... no faucet should be offering 5 to 10-Satoshi per shortlink. These rates are too low and I personally know full well that these Shortlink companies in the main will not pay well to you the owner - but it begs the question... why do the big guns pay much higher rates and the less legit pay much less? Is this down to greed on behalf of smaller faucet owners?

No and yes... much rather the big guns are avoiding the NSFW shortlinking and scammy advertisers, getting paid fairly and thus paying members fairly, the bucks get passed on and spread throughout faucet services, and surveys are paid at higher rates - it keeps the members happy - more importantly you in business as a faucet owner - the less legit and scammy/spammy a crypto faucet always falls at this hurdle... traffic reflects honesty, fairness, returning punters and very importantly the respect of legitimacy of faucet facilities - case studies abound by myself over many years - be aware faucet owners.

Advertisement stacking, page breaking, sneaky website glitch manipulation... these are just some of the bad practices that lazy, 'in it for the short term I want profit NOW' cryptocurrency faucet owners - some faucets are set up in tandem with criminals at shortlink Spam and Malware websites - and for those faucet owners that rely on legit Advertising Networks such as Google Adsense or a similar Crypto Advert Network, you are quickly going to lose your accounts to multiple account violations - thus be unable to pay your minimum crypto withdrawals from faucet member transactions.

If you bump into these faucets that are still paying 1-Satoshi per claim, you are better advised to avoid them, this stops the criminal element opening 20 or 20 similar low paying faucets, also stops the copycat low paying faucets in their tracks.

This is not to say that some of the bigger faucets do not come without their own problems - they do, but can quickly adapt - the main reason for the big guns suddenly having to limit withdrawals will usually be down to revenue payment times, and the sudden incoming of new members who find their way due to experiencing the bad guys and quickly realise... yup these bigger minimum withdrawals (as an example of excuse not to stick around at bigger faucets) are worth the wait.

There are multiple faucet wallet websites out there that should be avoided for the sake of the crypto faucet world, fairness and payment values - in keeping crypto faucets a viable source of a small amount of income... but not so small that you are literally earning pennies per hour... These are run by criminal elements... Note these places pay direct to their multi-token wallets, and many newbies to faucet ownership are sucked into them, even more faucet claimers are sucked in hoping to make some extra crypto... let's put it this way... would you continue to use a Multi-Token Wallet that suddenly has a hack, loses members cryptocurrency to the tune of $600,000, makes no update on any investigation and no return of crypto to effected members - then opens a Crypto Casino? You may work this out over time... some of you know who I am typing about...

Stop using these faucets immediately, continue to use the big guns... this will only help the bigger faucets grow and pay fairer rates, but it will protect you from wasting your time when you stumble upon them... you might think multiple faucet claiming from 1-Satoshi crypto faucets is worth your time and effort... it is not - only the multiple scamming websites owned by malicious crypto faucet owners benefit... a for your own sake do not place any crypto into the faucets that pay you increased rates for a large token stake... 98% of the time you will not get that stake back, nor will you profit.

I hope faucet owners read this and take it in... things need to change as you guys making mistakes or scamming an income are risking the collapse of crypto fauceting completely.

Will we one day see a Crypto Faucet that is actually capable of fairly bringing a 100% fair and attractive amount of earning revenue, that in turn could present as more than just a secondary income?

We shall wait and see... as of yet... I know of none that can provide a fair weekly income from fair paying sources, capable of earning anywhere near an hourly wage per time spent completing tasks.
