I have a bunch of blogs, four of which are very important to me. I've decided to monetise the oldest one, I've had for 13 years, and it's finally paying off.

So to speak.

After a month, I was able to generate my first cent, with 169 ad impressions.

Obviously, that's nothing, but it's a start. And I've done that by sharing maybe 6 or 7 articles. Now, all I need is to figure out a way to write 6 or 7 articles... per day.

The thing is, I've been here before.

In 2016, I was an early adopter and writer for a social media-style car magazine.

They launched a monetising scheme for creators and I applied, but forgot all about it.

And then I began noticing a thread.

I began receiving payments on PayPal and it even though it was peanuts, it opened the floodgates for me.

Because it made me realise it was doable.

So what started out as beer money became a steady income that was more or less enough to sustain me.
