After beating the game and collecting every trophy that is needed for the Platinum on my PS4, I decided to share a quick review for the people looking for a decent enough arcade racing game – and also for appreciating the job well done by the developer EA studio Ghost.

A great experience for those who were playing Underground 2 in their childhood. This game takes you back to the good old days with a wide variety of costumizations, great and unique events.
Live action cutscenes are a good idea, though they could've chosen better actors for taking the roles. Another awesome addition is the 3D model of the player's own car in these videos. I wish we knew at least something about the main character other than drinking Monster with the buddies.
Playing the PlayStation Store version of the game (with the latest update) has caused me major game-breaking bugs when roads disappeared, creating an incredibly long loading screen and pushing me back to the last place mid-race.
The game updates something every day which might only be the leaderboard standings and daily mission refreshments, but it would be awesome to see the bug being resolved, though this seems to be impossible giving the fact it's a 6 year old game.
Talking about being 6-year old! Look at those light- and weather effects! They are truly awesome and keep up to today's standards, I might add: without any kind of sorcery of RTX and such technologies.
Overall score: 80/100.
Well done, Ghost, you nailed this NFS. I'm glad I gave this one a chance after playing 'Payback' and hating it.
