From Dec 9,The maximum number of Kusama validators in the active set has started to increase by 1 each era until it reaches 900 validators (increasing from 700).

Similar to Referendum 13 on Polkadot, Referendum 95 on Kusama reimburses council members who were erroneously slashed by a bug in phragmen-elections pallet. https://kusama.polkassembly.io/referendum/95

The Kusama Council is currently voting on Motion 246, a Treasury Proposal seeking to fund Patract's creation of Wasm contract SDKs in Go and Python. https://kusama.polkassembly.io/motion/246
