Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank made some remarks about Blockchain technology.
Mustafa Varank, who participated in the trade and Global Value Chains conference held in Istanbul with the cooperation of the World Bank, Turkish Industrialists 'and businessmen's Association (TÜSIAD), International Investors' Association (Yased) and the Turkish Exporters ' Assembly, gave a speech at the opening. According to information shared by Anadolu Agency, Minister Varank talked about international trade and investments as well as technology policies in the country.
The MEXS Technology Center, founded by the Metal Industrialists ' Union of Turkey (MESS), had been part of the fourth network of Industrial Revolution centers affiliated with the World Economic Forum (WEF). Mustafa Varank has also made statements about Blockchain technology in recent years. In the same way, he said the following about MEXS Technology Center at this conference in Istanbul:
“IN THIS CONTEXT, WITH THE CENTER TO BE ESTABLISHED IN ISTANBUL ATAŞEHIR, WE WILL DESIGN PUBLIC POLICIES THAT WILL FACILITATE THE TRANSITION OF TECHNOLOGIES DEVELOPED IN AREAS SUCH AS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, BIG DATA AND BLOCKCHAIN, AND WE WILL DEVELOP OUR HUMAN RESOURCES IN THIS FIELD.”
Blockchain is increasing in popularity and gradually taking over the whole world. It would be a very good development for our country to take part in such a powerful technology as a pioneer.
