According to the announcement by KuCoin, the exchange is launching beta version of its blockchain network "KuChain" on July 1. The statement states that KuChain was designed to meet the needs of the decentralized financial (DeFi) sector. In addition, KuCoin Shares (KCS), which we can define as the platform's own token, will now work on KuChain with mainnet activation.

KuCoin officials stated that they will start a “finding bug” program in July and added that they will support users who want to test and contribute to the network with a “Proposal Award” campaign.
