On August 18th KOGs had their first sale premiering the 1st edition and I purchased 2 starter packs, at the begining I was thinking about not selling them and holding onto them for a long time but I saw the price of some Kogs and I took my chance and opened them.
Each Starter pack contains
- 10 Common Kogs
- 6 Uncommon Kogs
- 3 Rare Kogs
- 1 Common slammer
- 5 Special slots (chance for ultra-rares and foils)
I pulled 1 ultra-rare slammer (0,04% chance), 2 ultra-rare and 3 uncommon foil Kogs from the 2 packs that I had
If I would sell all the Kogs that I own right now I would get roughly 5000 WAX tokens which are valued at 250$ as I write this post.
Considering that my initial investment was 40$, im glad I opened them up because it would have taken me way longer until the pack's would get re-valued that much.
This project has convinced me that NFT's are getting bigger and bigger with a really solid community trading over 3000 assets a day on Atomichub
Personally I will try to sell the cheap ones so I can buy more packs when they release the next edition and then sell the most rares or hold them.
