It's that time of the month! 1st day - and it's now APRIL!

Wanna know a fun fact about April?

This month is named after the Latin word "aperire"
If you do not know it, this means "to open" and is about all the flowers opening up and blooming around us during spring.

Already 3 months into 2023, the first quarter is gone - vorbei - and it has left us with insights to examine, to see thoroughly, to analyze and to help us decide further.

I will below analyze the earnings from my blogging activities, through:

Hive - LeoFinance

I have not yet started noting the rest of the tokens that I receive every month. It is too much work and extremely difficult for me to do it at the moment. However, in the below report I will show you the amounts earned. Please note that I have already been on this platform since its birth and active (sometimes more and sometimes less), on a daily basis.

The total amount earned for the month of March is $220.18 - I must note that I have re-invested in the platform and have not moved outside any amount

There is an approximate decrease of 10% from last month - but we should consider that it was an extremely busy month for me, with many assignments for my Master and 3 different exams (the last one was over today - new semester starts on Monday)

I think that I have one of the highest-ever for me curation % and I am not sure if it is because I powered up some hive this month and I am trying to reach 10K soon.

Medium!

This has proven to be a very strange month. After the big increase of February, we fell again and the final amount earned was $55.39 - this includes rewards from referred members and for my posts.
The monthly statistics fell a lot, even though there was a daily post in the platform by me.

For you who do not know, Medium is an author's platform where you can write posts and be rewarded as per the views of the subscribers (it costs 5$ a month to be a subscriber). You are required to give your full KYC & Tax info and get paid via Stripe on a monthly basis.

I surprisingly had an increase but only had the time to publish 2 posts.
The monthly earned amount was $2.22

I visit publish0x daily and read/upvote my favorite posts and maybe this is why this amount is more than 2$

My articles made barely 0.34$

In total the earnings of March were: $277.79

The amounts in hive and are not moved, but invested in the platform itself. The earnings of publish0x are usually moved after they reach a specific treshold and the amounts of medium are transferred to my bank (and have been spent until now for personal expenses and for paying the medium subscription of 5$.
