They Said They’d Never Sell

By Karly | Karly on Page | 26 Jun 2026

They said they'd never sell, and then they did.

Thirty-two coins to float a dividend.

The faith we kept in them was what we bid.

We watched the treasuries grow, the chorus hid

behind a Michael Saylor tweet, and penned:

they said they'd never sell, and then they did.

I apped in early, diamond-handed, slid

my rent into a narrative that bends.

The faith we kept in them was what we bid.

The maxis wept. The CT ratio'd. Mid.

Some said it's nothing, fren. Some said descend.

They said they'd never sell, and then they did.

Thirteen straight days of outflows. All the kids

who bought the ETF and still pretend

the faith we kept in them was what we bid.

I'm not rekt. I'm not mooning. Somewhere mid

between belief and grief, I comprehend:

they said they'd never sell, and then they did.

The faith we kept in them was what we bid.
