I imagine our life journey as equivalent to walking on a highway. I’m walking because you are walking and you are walking because the person next to you is walking and so on. And the crazy part is nobody knows where we are walking to. Hence, the herd mentality. However, one fine day, you notice that there is a turn ahead and that makes you curious, you want to go and explore what’s out there, but you are scared. Not sure if the turn will take you to another, but similar highway like the one you are on or if the turn is a trap that initially gives the feeling of getting ahead of the curve, but ends up being a dead-end. Alternatively, the turn could in-fact lead to a whole new journey towards eternal happiness or salvation. Curious souls than me have fallen prey for such traps. But on the other hand, many lucky chaps have changed their lives for better after leaving the highway and taking a turn. So, what I’ve realized so far through my experience is that there in fact is no single highway. There are many. Shapes and size may differ, traffic may differ, but the ultimate destination is unknown nonetheless. So, it doesn’t matter as much which path you take, because it is not the destination, but the journey that counts. And by taking a turn, I might fail, but I won't be a loser!
