A recent post showed that most HODL purchases of for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and Ripple (XRP) made in 2019 would not have been profitable. What are the results for a 1-year and 2-year HODL investment?

Only a 1-year HODL investment (from March 31st, 2019 to March 31st, 2020), in BTC (33.25%) or ETH (15.43%) would have been profitable. In this time period, XRP (-48.76) and LTC (-53.33%) would not have been profitable.

For a 2-year HODL investment (from March 31st, 2018 to March 31st, 2020), no investment would have been profitable.

And what if a purchase was made at the market low of December 19th, 2019? BTC (90.37%), ETH (48.31%), and LTC (59.32%) would have been profitable. In this time period XRP (-42.92%) would not have been profitable.
