INTRODUCTION

Web 3 content writing is a career that requires a great passion and enthusiasm for Blockchain Technology and Crypto.

This is a skill that many people want to get into but don't know how. I'll share my story on becoming a Web 3 content writer. I'm sure that if you go through it, you'll learn something.

How I got to know about Web 3:

I've known what Web 3 is for a while but have yet to be interested in it. I was in the Web 2 space, totally confused about what skill to learn and taking advice from a whole lot of YouTubers that I couldn't implement. Sometimes, the advice I took from YouTubers contradicts each other which leaves me with more confusion to deal with. 

After wasting much time on mediocre courses, I came across a freelancing course that I believed would change my life. Halfway through the course, I realized that the course creator emphasized getting a PayPal and Payoneer account that would be used to receive payments from the freelancing website called Legitt.

Unfortunately, my country is one of the countries that was banned from using PayPal as a means of receiving payments. I tried Payoneer, and they refused to release the US and UK account numbers that the website required of me if I didn't pay $100.

I became more confused about what to do. I abandoned the course and continued surfing YouTube as usual. I was on WhatsApp one day, viewing people's statuses when I came across an advert on Web 3 jobs training from a WhatsApp influencer's status. In the advert video, the tutor promised to teach the potential students, digital skills and how to monetize them in the Web3 space and get paid in cryptocurrencies. 

I got interested in it since I'll receive payments in crypto, thereby breaking the barrier of international transactions. I clicked on the link that took me to his personal WhatsApp, greeted him, and asked him about the skills that he'd be teaching. He stated so many skills that he'll be teaching and one of them was Web 3 content writing.

I picked up a sudden interest in it and went ahead to conduct more research on the skill. That was when I came across my mentor's YouTube video where he gave an overview on becoming a Web 3 content writer. After the video, I checked the comments and saw the link to his course on how to become a Web3 content writer. From his website, I got his telegram username and chatted him up. I was told the price, and I told him the amount I had on me for the course, though it was not complete, he granted me access to the course.

What I learned from the course:

The Write to Earn Crypto program taught me that writing an appealing Web 3 article isn't as difficult as people think it is.

I was made to understand that every type of article has its template and if you follow the template judiciously, you'll be amazed at what you can create.

I was also taught the principles of ranking an article on the Google search engine. The opportunities that lie in the Web 3 content writing niche were made known to me. 

My Advice to aspiring Web3 Content Writers:

I have just one piece of advice for anybody aspiring to go into Web 3 content writing.

Get a mentor with proven results and judiciously implement all you've been taught consistently.
