WIP: Recreating My Tree-Dwelling Alien

I decided to recreate the tree-dwelling alien that I drew years ago. I once drew the concept on my sketchpad with a pencil. Last night, I decided to recreate that alien using only Medibang Paint for Mobile. 

I am using Huawei Matepad 10.4 with M-Pencil 2 stylus.

I will share with you some of the major steps in the process of creating this drawing.

I started by creating a sketch using the pencil brush.

2. I converted the layer from a full-color layer to 8-bit layer. With the 8-bit layer, I can easily change the color of the sketch. I usually prefer blue.

3. On a new layer, I started "Inking" the drawing with a "pen" brush.

4. After finising the "ink" or the outline, I started coloring my alien

Estimated Time

From the initial sketch to this flat color, I consume about two hours. I still need to add some details, highlights and shadows to this image. 

If I will have time tomorrow, I will finish this. If not, probably on Sunday.
