UpLift Events: The Maul Gallery Great Reveal!!

This week began in quite an interesting way for both myself and everyone in The Uplift World. Instead of our regular ‘Monday Morning Chill’ episode we were joined on the channel by TheMTBR for a special Uplift Events edition of The Maul Gallery Great Reveal!

Shallow Dive with Love

Shallow Dive with Love is a regular weekly series dedicated to connecting with musicians, artists, and kindred spirits and souls that resonate with the vibes Nathan and I believe make the creative blockchain space and world in general a better place. That said, things in the space have been so crazy lately that it has actually be a while since we have touched base with each other and those that usually tune in. Hence this past week we dove into Vol. 4 of Grassroots with Nathan ‘Love is the answeR’ & Jimmy D with a focus on a variety of content, but most revolving around art, NFT’s, and the implications of a couple little conferences taking place stateside recently.

The Maple Glazed Jerky Chronicles

As mentioned previously, The Maple Glazed Jerky Chronicles is a series involving The Nasty Hooks and I where we get together, chat about whatever, and do some work on our collective Gratitude Community plot in The Uplift World (3700, 4700). Last week consisted of some interesting surprises alongside the building out of layer 2 of our underground glass maze.

This week we went live a day early for our regular Edge of Obscurity show and dove in as always to a variety of both crypto and life conversations. Always fun hanging out with Sean and the die hard Edger’s that join us week after week. And I burned a Cryptowriter membership for a new Underground membership card. Exciting times indeed.

The first of 2 interviews with Larz Kommienezuspadt this week, this Pomelo Pitch Deck dives into the drive and ambition behind the Immutable Realms Art Zine intended as an exposition in comic form of all that happenings with the EOSIO ecosystem in an effort to bring awareness and educate the broader crypto and non crypto communities.

NFT Game Day: Dark Pin Up Act II

Dark Pinup is a brooding collection of portraiture done in Kommienezuspadt’s signature style – diegetic lighting and cinematic frames that bring a beautiful new perspective to the world of pinup photography. Act 1 of Dark Pinup consists of 44 NFT photos as well as 44 mementos displayed across 8 rarity tiers. Last week for NFT Game Day we dove in for a look into the NFT series with a focus on Act 2 set to release on November 30th, 2021.

The Throwback Loop

As previously mentioned, I thought it would be interesting to revisit an article curated in the past. It should go without saying that not everything may in these pieces may still hold true, but for me it is an important part of my journey in being where I am today in this space and I’d like to think that others may find this of interest as well.

Having the chance this week to catch up with John of Boid reminded me pleasantly of some of the very first interviews I did in the blockchain space. No camera, voice only, but all the same, some great guests to get the rundown on all that they were and in many cases still are bringing to the space. These were the Boidcast interviews with various Boid.com Season 4 team leaders and well worth a listen if you like that sort of thing.

As for this week, well that about wraps it up. Of course I will be back to my regular business over the course of next week and drop by again next week to keep you all updated with the next ‘Week In Review’.
