Weather and Moods

By DrMind | It’s never too late... | 10 Mar 2021

Depending on where you live in the world, the weather plays an integral role on our live styles and how we feel. Being from a place that experiences all 4 seasons equally, you begin to feel a body change as we head into spring.

That first 60 degree day is a joy to an aging body that went through shoveling a few weeks prior. It was a mild winter, hardly ever reaching the teens. Still, the whole winter I would have rather been in a place such as Florida. Circumstances keep me where I am but not without some regret.

The fresh start of spring allows to deal with those past regrets. Especially with everything that has gone on this year. Never can we have imagined our lives to change so drastically. To be put in situations that could have only been conceived in our nightmares.

Things have changed around us, yes, but what has it done to ourselves? It has been a real opportunity to see how people really are. And will they also take certain opportunities to start over living a life they truely want to be a part of.

The winter was for reflecting and now that the snow has melted and we’re seeing warmer temperatures, now is the time to grow into what we are capable of.

It’s never too late...

Each day is a brand new opportunity to make the changes to life that we all want. Many of us struggle with bad habits that we wish we could change. Two popular methods that are used is the cold turkey method or the phase it out method. Both can be effective but both also could be counter productive. It all depends on what personality type we are. Some of us cannot do things in moderation and the ones that do, micro manage every decision. So what do you do? Just start making the changes. Today!
