The community-driven dxDAO, with a focus on developing and promoting DeFi protocols, has launched the decentralized forecast market platform Omen.eth. The solution is based on the Gnosis Protocol.
Developers consider their brainchild the next generation of truly decentralized Ethereum prediction markets. According to them, the creation of the event takes place in one click, the outcome is verified by credible decentralized arbiters Realit.io and Kleros.io.
Unlike its counterparts, Omen uses an automated market maker to compare transactions in the markets. The platform allows users to easily contribute to Uniswap-like liquidity pools. This ensures that markets optimally reflect the latest expert opinions.
Omen is built on the basis of the Gnosis protocol , in which on-chain market quotes adjust to new information and reflect the likelihood of future results.
The key to Omen's innovation lies in its management system, which is implemented by the decentralized organization DXdao. It can be described as a community of “champions of decentralization”. Its members strive to bring true decentralization to DeFi, ensuring that its applications have full stack decentralization at the hosting levels without servers, applications, and management.

The developers claim that the platform has gone through many tests and improvements. At the same time, they recommend not to forget that this is a new product in which vulnerabilities can be detected.
Recall that in April, the Gnosis team introduced the Corona Information Markets platform, on which forecasts could be made on various aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
