Hi everybody,

I made this tutorial to show you how simple is to install a Windows 8/ 8.1 in your PC/Laptop, especially for those who want to do it home, without paying extra fees for this service.It's a 10 minutes job, expecially now with the SSD era.

Instructions:

1. Create a bootable usb stick/card ( y'll post an article with the tutorial) - with 3.0, the process lasts less

2. Insert the stick in a usb port (with 3.0, the process lasts less) and power on your device.

3. Due to your bios settings, at pc/laptop start, the windows install will run automatically or you can do it manually, by pressing Boot Key, in my case F12.

4. Select language - English is default - next

5. Insert serial key and press Next. Included in video, too.

6. Check "i accept terms" and select Next

7.1. Select Upgrade if you want to upgrade to another version of windows 8.1 but to keep your files and data

7.2. Select Custom Install if you want to create new partitions and to format them ( Recommended).

8. Now you'll see your HDD. You can delete the existing partitions and create others. I didn't need another, so i just format it and Next.

9. Now you must wait the files to be copied and installed. This process lasts due to your HDD speed. If you have a SSD, this lasts 5 minutes.

10. VERY IMPORTANT !! After the copying process is complete, remove the usb stick from your pc/laptop in that restart screen, orelse the windows setup will start over and over again ( only if USB is set as primary boot device).

11. Now you must wait to complete the instalation

12. Insert Computer's name. Any desired name and press next

13. Select Express Settings ( Recommended)

14. Select User's name

15. Connect to internet and run Windows Update to download and install your drivers. Restart is required after drivers install process.

16. You have a new windows!
