December has arrived and has brought with it the monthly airdrop of our favorite decentralized exchange, Loop! This month the rewards for hodlers and community members have been very generous. If you haven’t done so yet, I advise you to hurry up and claim the rewards as soon as possible, because with the January airdrop, the December rewards not collected will be lost!
The old Farm Betas have officially stopped producing rewards so, if you still have some LP tokens staked in these Farms, you should redeem them as soon as possible and deposit them in the new Farm v1, with new contracts and new and higher APR! To date, the most productive Farm is the LOOP-LOOPR one, which reaches 707% of APR and rewards with LOOP and LOOPR tokens. Providing liquidity to a DEX, as I always repeat, is an operation involves risks, first of all the impermanent loss. When I participated in the first Farm proposed by the DEX, I provided liquidity when the price of LOOP was around $1. If I withdraw my LP tokens today at current prices, I would suffer a loss close to 80% of the invested capital (partly amortized by the fees earned and by the Farm rewards). How do I avoid this loss? Simple, I wait for LOOP to return to the initial prices and I am confident that this will happen in the not too distant future. The ability to stake our LP tokens in Farms, however, considerably mitigates losses, but liquidity pools remain one of the most risky instruments in decentralized finance.
Do you have a low risk appetite and do you consider yourself to be medium/long-term savers? Today Loop DEX has the right tool for you: staking! In the “Stake” section, in fact, it is finally possible to deposit our LOOPs in exchange for an APR with three zeros! While I’m writing, we are at 1381%, a very high percentage for a safe (and risk-free) tool like staking. But pay attention to the conditions: to collect the very high rewards offered you will have to keep your LOOPs on deposit for 12 months. You will be able to redeem the tokens even before the allotted time, but in that case you will not receive any rewards. Each time you add LOOP to staking, the staking period will reset, so I advise you, if you want to participate in this deposit, to decide upstream the amount to deposit and not add tokens at a later time (unless your patience is infinite!). Personally, I had no hesitation in depositing all the LOOPs in staked portfolios. For hodlers like us, one year is a more than manageable horizon.
Having said that, make your considerations, friends of the most LUNAtica community of the crypto-sphere. Whether you choose the new Farm or Staking, the Loop markets DEX will be able to reward you generously.

dicembre è arrivato e con lui l’airdrop mensile del nostro exchange decentralizzato preferito, Loop! Anche questo mese le rewards per gli hodler e per i membri della community è stato molto generoso. Se non l’avete ancora fatto, vi consiglio di affrettarvi ad effettuare il claim delle rewards al più presto, perché con l’airdrop di gennaio le rewards di dicembre non riscosse andranno perse!
Le vecchie Farm Beta hanno ufficialmente smesso di produrre ricompense quindi, se avete ancora degli LP token in stake in queste Farm vi conviene riscattarli al più presto e depositarli nelle nuove Farm v1, con nuovi contratti e nuovi e più alti APR! Ad oggi, la Farm più produttiva risulta essere quella LOOP-LOOPR, che tocca ben il 707% di APR e ricompensa con token LOOP e LOOPR. Fornire liquidità ad un DEX, come ripeto sempre, è un’operazione che comporta di per se dei rischi, primo fra tutti l’impermanent loss. Io stesso, quando ho partecipato all’inizio alla prima Farm proposta dal DEX, ho fornito liquidità quando il prezzo di LOOP si aggirava intorno ad $1. Se ritirassi oggi i miei token LP ai prezzi attuali subirei una perdita vicina all’80% del capitale investito (in parte ammortizzata dalle fee guadagnate e dai proventi della Farm). Come evito questa perdita? Semplice, aspetto che LOOP torni sulle quotazioni iniziali ed ho fiducia che questo avverrà in un futuro non troppo lontano. La possibilità di mettere in stake nelle Farm i nostri gettoni LP, comunque, attenua considerevolmente le perdite, ma le liquidity pool rimangono uno degli strumenti più ad alto rischio della Finanza Decentralizzata.
Avete una bassa propensione al rischio e vi considerate risparmiatori di medio/lungo periodo? Da qualche giorno su Loop DEX c’è lo strumento che fa per voi: lo staking! Nella sezione “Stake”, infatti, è finalmente possibile depositare i nostri LOOP in cambio di un APR a tre zeri! Mentre vi scrivo, siamo al 1381%, una percentuale altissima per uno strumento sicuro (e senza rischio di perdita) come lo staking. Occhio però alle condizioni: per riscuotere le altissime rewards offerte dovrete mantenere in deposito i vostri LOOP per 12 mesi. Potrete riscattare i token anche prima del tempo stabilito, ma in quel caso non riceverete alcuna ricompensa. Ogni volta che aggiungerete LOOP allo staking, il periodo di staking si resetterà, quindi vi consiglio, se vorrete partecipare a questo deposito, di decidere a monte la somma da depositare e non aggiungere token in un secondo momento (a meno ché la vostra pazienza non sia infinita!). Personalmente, non ho avuto nessuna esitazione a depositare tutti i LOOP in portfolio in stake, per noi hodler un anno è un orizzonte più che affrontabile.
Detto questo, fate le vostre considerazioni amici della community più LUNAtica della crypto-sfera. Che scegliate le nuove Farm o lo Staking, il DEX di Loop markets saprà ricompensarvi generosamente.
