I've been writing about Bitcoin for several years now. I'm trying to make a small contribution to this incredible monetary revolution by trying to help as many people as possible understand why Bitcoin is a unique opportunity that should be seized.
As such, I write different types of articles. Technical articles, articles that help people understand why Bitcoin is so important, articles that tell stories about the Bitcoin ecosystem, articles that explain what I think Bitcoin price is going to do in the coming weeks, ...
In short, I try to vary my content to bring different things to my readers. The most interesting thing for me is to get feedback from my readers to better understand what they think about Bitcoin.
Some people ask me to prove that Bitcoin is not just a scam
Some feedback is very positive, which is always nice, I won't tell you otherwise. Others are negative but still constructive. It's also nice to be able to exchange in a civilized way when we disagree. I respect the opinions of others as long as mine are respected.
Finally, there is one last type of comment that I get from time to time. These comments are usually sent to me by email. People who read my articles still send me rather aggressive messages telling me that my content is biased, that I am wrong, and that I need to prove to them why Bitcoin is indeed an incredible monetary revolution.
The first point is that my articles are biased.
As I explain all the time, I simply share my opinions and ideas in my articles. De facto, my articles are biased by what I think about Bitcoin. I sincerely think that Bitcoin is an incredible monetary revolution. I am not going to say otherwise and go along with the opponents of Bitcoin with whom I disagree.
Nevertheless, I sometimes take up the arguments of Bitcoin opponents to better dismantle them and prove to you that these arguments are just outdated clichés in most cases.
I always take the time to remind you that my articles are not gospel, but rather a way to help you form your own opinion about Bitcoin. Take what you can from my content, and use it to inform your thinking.
In the end, it's still your money. It's up to you to make the best decisions for your future.
I have nothing to prove with Bitcoin because time will do its work
To those who say I'm wrong and have to prove to them why Bitcoin is an incredible monetary revolution, I simply want to tell them that I have nothing to prove with Bitcoin. I'm giving you the elements to seize a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. You are free not to take this opportunity.
I'm not going to prove anything to you. That is not my role. I don't earn anything when you buy Bitcoin. Rather, it is you who loses by not taking action to protect the fruits of your labor.
In the end, time will do its work. You will see what happens with the Bitcoin revolution. My vision is that Bitcoin will reach at least the market cap of gold by 2030, or $11T. That is x11 from Bitcoin's current market cap of around $1T.
That's where Bitcoin's growth potential lies for this decade:
I could be wrong of course. But I have nothing more to say to you than to give you the arguments that lead me to expect this for Bitcoin in the next decade.
Make up your own mind, and act accordingly to avoid regrets
So there is nothing to prove to you. In any case, there's no need to prove anything here. It's up to you whether you believe in the Bitcoin revolution or not. Educate yourself and then make your decision. Patience is the key to getting the most out of Bitcoin.
Like all Bitcoiners, I will be patient. I will let time do its work and prove (or not) that what I think about Bitcoin for the future was the truth.
The next time you ask me to prove something about Bitcoin, I'll take the liberty of answering you with this quote from Satoshi Nakamoto:
“If you don’t believe it or don’t get it, I don’t have the time to try to convince you, sorry.”
