Dr. Manhattan or simply Manhattan, is a fictional character who appears in comics published by DC Comics.

He debuted in the graphic novel limited series Watchmen.

The Watchmen series is noted for addressing metaphysical issues and questions, Doctor Manhattan being the primary exponent.

He is often used as an example of a post-human god.
