The world is filled with souls who run from reason,
Yet hearts grow colder with every passing season.
I have no friend to walk beside me through the night—
Perhaps this endless distance is simply life.

So let us build a shelter where our hearts can stay,
A little home for love, away from yesterday.
A place where broken dreams are never cast aside,
Where tears can fall in peace, with nothing left to hide.

This world is full of faces, yet so few truly see,
So many walk beside us, but none know what we feel.
They smile beneath the sunlight, while their hearts quietly cry,
And hide their deepest sorrow behind a careless eye.

They promised me forever, but forever slipped away,
They spoke of love and loyalty, then vanished with the day.
I gave my heart sincerely, believing love was true,
But some people leave behind the scars they never knew.

I wish there were a soul who could understand my pain,
Who'd sit beside my silence without asking me to explain.
Someone who, when my heart is tired and cannot speak,
Would simply stay beside me when I am at my weakest.

I ask for neither riches, nor glory, nor a throne—
Just one faithful heart that won't leave me alone.
A friend who stays beside me when the skies turn gray,
Not only when the sun is shining on the day.

For I have seen so many who looked like friends from far,
But disappeared like shadows when life became too hard.
The world has taught me gently, though the lesson left a scar:
Not everyone who walks beside you knows who you really are.

Still, somewhere in my heart, a little flame survives,
A quiet light of hope that tells me I'm alive.
Though I am tired of this world and all its endless games,
I will not let its darkness extinguish all my flames.

I will rebuild my heart with kindness, faith, and grace,
And make a home for love where sorrow has no place.
If no true friend is waiting, then I will stand my ground,
And learn to be my own companion when no one else is around.

I'll turn the wounds of yesterday into a road ahead,
And turn my midnight tears into prayers instead.
Perhaps beyond this darkness, a morning waits for me,
Perhaps a broken heart can bloom again and still be free.

Perhaps somewhere in this world, a faithful heart remains,
Waiting beyond the silence, beyond the years and pain.
Someone who will come not simply for a passing day,
But choose to hold my hand—and never walk away.

And when that day arrives, I'll smile and finally know:
This world still has some kindness, even after all I've known.
I'll whisper to the heavens, with a heart no longer scarred:
“Perhaps the world was not so cruel…
I simply hadn't found my person yet.”

The world may run from reason,
And hearts may flee from love,
But mine will keep on hoping
For something pure enough.

So let us build a home where love can breathe and stay,
A home made out of tenderness, not promises that fade.
And from the ruins of our past, beneath the morning sun,
We'll write a brand-new chapter—
And let our hearts become one. 🌹
