Look upon sorrow gently, for the world is a beautiful place,
A pause can hold all happiness, and a glance can awaken grace.

If you sit for just a moment and quietly behold the earth,
You will see a thousand dreams in every corner of its birth.

The breeze that comes down from the mountains whispers of the dawn,
For every dark and endless night must someday give way to morn.

The tree may bend beneath the weight of storms and passing years,
Yet still it gives its shade to those who walk beneath its leaves.

And when a green leaf falls, it does not fall in vain,
It becomes a part of earth, and rises through the rain.

A rose grows from among the thorns, despite the wounds and pain,
For beauty does not fear the scars, nor does it fear the rain.

When rain falls softly on the earth, the sleeping ground awakes,
And when the clouds begin to weep, hope rises in their wake.

How many broken hearts have found their way to love again,
How many frozen nights have ended in the warmth of spring.

If stones are scattered on your road, then walk and do not fear,
For every stone may become a step that takes you higher still.

When sorrow comes today, do not declare the journey done,
For tomorrow may unlock a door and lead you toward the sun.

If you have wounded someone's heart, return with love and grace,
For one sincere and gentle smile can brighten all the world.

Do not withhold your kindness from a tired and weary soul,
For one tender word can heal a heart and make it whole.

Give a child a reason to smile, reach out to the weary old,
For love—not wealth or empty noise—is what makes life worth more.

Look at the bird that crosses skies without a map or plan,
It does not fear tomorrow, though tomorrow none can understand.

Look at the river flowing on, so free and unconcerned,
It never asks about the past, nor fears what lies ahead.

Listen quietly to the ocean and the secrets of its sound,
For sometimes silence speaks the words that cannot otherwise be found.

If the world has wounded you, do not wound the world in turn,
For every kindness and every pain is a circle we return.

Not every smile means there is no sorrow hidden deep inside,
And not every tear means someone has surrendered to the night.

Someone may be laughing in the middle of a crowd,
While carrying a mountain of silent grief beneath the sound.

So walk more gently among people, for everyone has a story,
Some dream about tomorrow, some still mourn the days gone by.

It is easy to judge a restless heart from far away,
But hard to understand the wounds that made it feel that way.

If you have the strength, then lift the one whose shoulders fall,
For perhaps your hand may be the hand that saves them from the fall.

The earth keeps turning every day, and time will never stay,
So treasure what you have today; tomorrow may become yesterday.

Do not let the ghosts of yesterday steal the life you have today,
For human life is brief, and opportunities fade away.

If something has wounded you, release it, forgive, and move ahead,
For forgiveness makes the heart much lighter than the weight of regret.

When loneliness surrounds you, look toward the sun behind the cloud,
For every darkened night conceals a thousand lights beyond.

If one day you should fall, remember: falling is not the end,
Sometimes a broken road becomes the place where new paths begin.

A tree that bends beneath the storm can still remain alive,
When roots run deep, it can endure the rain, the cold, the night.

So plant your roots in love, in faith, in everything that's beautiful,
For hope and love and meaning are the things that keep us whole.

The world was never meant to stay, nor sorrow meant to last,
No joy remains forever, and no pain can hold us fast.

The coming and the going are simply laws of life,
So cherish every moment, for each one comes but once.

Look at the autumn leaf that gently leaves the tree,
It never asks the heavens why it has to fall and flee.

It falls to let the earth embrace it with an open heart,
And perhaps from that same soil, another root will start.

What mystery lies in leaving? What mystery lies in staying?
Perhaps every ending hides a beginning yet awaiting.

So, heart, do not drown in sorrow; learn to walk beside the world,
For though the world is full of pain, its beauty still remains.

Look upon sorrow gently, for the world is a beautiful place,
A pause can hold all happiness, and a glance can awaken grace.

If your inner eyes are open, everywhere you look you'll see
A trace of something sacred in the flowers and the sea.

In every bird that sings, in every quiet street at night,
In gentle rain that falls upon a roof beneath the fading light.

In a mother's warm embrace, in the simple gaze of a friend,
In the smile of someone giving love with nothing to expect in return.

Perhaps the world is full of suffering, but love is here as well,
A sweetness hidden quietly within the bitterness we dwell.

So long as you are breathing, call upon the name of love,
For one small act of kindness may change a whole life.

And every morning when you wake, give thanks and breathe in peace,
For you have one more chance to write a different story.

Do not try to bring yesterday back, and do not fear tomorrow's face,
Receive the gift of this moment, and let hope become your place.

For hope is what keeps us alive, and love makes the spirit strong,
And one clear way of seeing can turn the darkness into dawn.

Look upon your sorrow, but do not make your home within it, heart,
For even tears of rain can whisper that tomorrow has a start.

The world may be filled with suffering, yet it is filled with beauty too,
Sometimes all you need is simply to stop,
to breathe a little slower,
to look a little deeper,
to see a little more clearly—

And then you may discover
that life is still full of reasons
to love this world.
