Is today International Stupidity Day or have North Americans been losing the plot since Election Day in the USA (not that I think they've had anything but a tenuous grasp on it in a very long time)? Either way, I missed the memo, yet again. All my favourite bloggers on Pub0x seem to be shit-posting. One's going on about "deep-state Democrat operatives" and another's endorsing CBDC-affiliated projects. FSM, spare me from this nonsense! 🙄 SMH!
When I see the phrase "deep-state Democrat operative" (or some other qAnon hogwash), I stop reading, roll my eyes, find the "dislike" button, smash it and move on to find some content from someone who displays more intelligence than a dog reacting to a whistle.
Don't get me wrong here, the two-party system is a load of rubbish. Right-wingers appear to be little more than uneducated conspiracy theorists who fart and think that the bogeyman did it. The so-called "Left" is not much better, but at least their supporters aren't bigots who want them to kill anyone who isn't a cishet white person from the former Confederate States. (It's still largely a diverse bunch of rich old white men. God forbid they elect a BIPoC president who shows them up by doing a better job than them, if only that person was given a chance to instead of dealing with stupid malarkey about birth certificates and other crap.)
To be fair, I don't pay attention to American politics, since it's "like listening to two kids that want attention fighting, but neither has anything insightful or useful to say" (and their insults aren't particularly original or cutting), to quote a friend of mine. I just watch the BLR and Remix Bros clips that come out after, since it makes as much sense as what politicians do say (the below videos illustrating my point). That might explain why I keep missing the memo (or more likely, I've unsubscribed from the mailing list).
