Here's a quick one to see us through to the end of the weekend: I turned part of one of SF's monologue rants into a poem (with some improvisation), for your enjoyment ...

Once again,
I find myself thinking
About such and such,
But ultimately thinking
That I think too much!

While there may be some
That perceive "open the chat"
To mean nothing more,
It's becoming apparent to me
That these few
Are a lot smaller in number
Than I originally thought.
Well, fancy that!

Those that read absolutely nothing
Might still be plentiful.
However,
This also cannot be the reason
Why only greetings are messaged
And nothing else
As I'm realising now too.

I was thinking I'd open the app,
See "open the chat" and take it the wrong way.
So I type "hello friends"
And then leave.
I read nothing whatsoever,
Ignore the chat rules
And any notifications or responses
Both in app and device
(If any there are; that would be nice).
Day after day,
SF and other mods warn me,
But I don't see it (or I choose to pretend I don't).
Rinse and repeat
Until I am muted or banned
When yet again "hello friends" I can't send.
I go to the play store,
A review to write,
To settle a score
About a crap app
That doesn't pay out!

When the mute/ban times out,
I think nothing of it,
Go back to where I left off.
"Hello friends", I type once again
And bail out.
Forever shall I do this
(It just will not end),
Thinking that's how I complete the task
And earn some Nano.
Tired of this,
Day in and day out,
SF finds me a pain,
Though!

Yet while I am muted,
Unable to chat
I still get the points for the task.
It's funny how
I don't notice that!
