Wandering around Sohar Beach in Oman - Part 1
Sohar is a charming city in Oman located on the shores of the Arabian Sea. This city is a wonderful meeting place of ancient history and modern beauty. This time we went to visit the most famous place of this city Sohar Beach. In the first part of this blog, we are highlighting the beginning of our charming journey.
We left early in the morning. The road was quiet, with only mountains and desert views around. After about an hour, we caught sight of the vast blue sea and a vast beach of white sand—Sohar Beach. As soon as we got out of the car, the cool breeze made our mind feel completely refreshed.

The beach is very clean and beautifully arranged. There are coconut trees all around and long sidewalks on the side, where people walk. The gentle morning sun, the light breeze on our bodies, and the sound of the ocean waves were creating an unearthly feeling.

We walked for a while. I was sitting on one side of the beach, watching the distant waves. A few families had come there—children playing, some having picnics. It felt like we had stepped out of the hustle and bustle of the city into a peaceful world.

There is also a beautiful cafe here, from where you can sit and have tea and coffee and see the sea. We also sat on the bench in front of the cafe with a cup of Omani Karak tea. Every now and then, the waves of the sea came and left some stories at our feet.

This was the beginning of our first day at Sohar Beach. In the next episode, I will share how the sunset there, local food, and the nearby sights made our trip more colorful.Come on, keep an eye out for the next episode
