Talking about Chittagong railway station, it is the old building that was dedicated in November 1893 during the British rule. Basically, the maximum big and big ports and big bridges or railway stations of our country were built during the British rule. It was the work done by the British, which is why it is still intact.

The environmental impact of this railway station seems to me to be of two types, one is positive and the other is negative. Among the positive environmental effects, I think that train transport uses less fuel than road transport, due to which air pollution in our surroundings is less, which is very beneficial. Also, due to traveling by train, traffic congestion in the city is reduced because the train lines go around the city separately, which reduces traffic congestion.

And the issue of negative environmental impact is that. Since it is diesel-powered, it has an environmental impact. And this one does some damage and there is a problem like noise pollution. For example, the sound of the train horn and movement creates noise pollution in the surrounding area which is very uncomfortable, especially those who live near the train and have to suffer a lot from this noise. Besides, I think the plastic bottles that are thrown from the train are also harmful to the environment.
